Support Staff - Barbacks & Food Runners at Elway's!

Skyport Hospitality has an immediate need for Food Service Support, Back Bar and Food Runners in our Elway’s Location at the Denver International Airport!
Named after NFL Hall Of Famer John Elway, this upscale steakhouse features hand-cut steaks, daily happy hour, weekly specials, a globally sourced wine list carefully curated by our Ritz-Carlton Sommelier, and more. Come join our team!

QUALIFICATIONS:
One(1+) plus years’ experience serving in a fast-paced, high-volume full service restaurant. Experience behind the bar and food running a plus
Open availability is preferred (holidays, nights, weekends); hours will vary depending on business and staffing needs
Must be able to pass a 10 -year TSA criminal background check to qualify for employment
Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighting25 lbs., as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES: for BARBACKS:
Maintaining the highest level of cleanliness as it pertains to Skyport and health department standards.
Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws
Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hours
Clean up the spills, remove the glassware and organize the counter
Keep the bar area neat and clean
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, courteous and exceptional service.

RESPONSONBILITIES FOR FOOD RUNNERS:
Setting tables with clean linen, napkins, and tableware as well as condiments.
Assisting the wait staff in delivering meal items to patrons as needed.
Removing dirty tableware from dining tables and taking them to the kitchen to be washed.
Performing clean-up duties, which include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as well as polishing counters and fixtures.
Answering patrons' questions regarding meal ingredients and preparation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
