Avila Retail Management & Development is a well-known retailer operating specialty retail stores in four US airports. We operate six retail stores and a warehouse at the Denver International Airport. There are two lead manager positions for the stores and we are currently recruiting to fill one of these roles. Duties: Assist the General Manager to facilitate all facets of the day-to-day operations of a multiple retail stores and provide optimum leadership coverage during hours of operations. Coordinates daily functions of assigned stores to include staff selection and hiring, sales and customer service training, recognition and corrective action. Responsibilities include supervision and support of Shift Leads and Sales Associates, customer service interactions, daily operating procedures to include cash handling and deposits and shift scheduling.
Minimum qualifications: 3 + years management experience in a specialty gift retail role required, OR 3+ years successful experience as an Avila Retail Shift Lead Associate with a strong interest to move into a higher level leadership role. BA in Business, Retail Management or other related field preferred. Proven proficiency in several areas of specialty retail management required. Strong familiarity with a specialty gift and jewelry retail organization is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other inventory software programs is necessary.
