Finance/Administration Manager

Job Summary

To provide accurate, timely and concise quantitative financial information in the areas of cost control, budget compilations, financial analysis, and accounting practices in order to track, analyze and forecast key operational and financial drivers of business results, including the development of reporting and performance metrics. The Administration Manager is also responsible for the oversight of the office and all its functions, to include payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing.

Job Responsibilities
•Design and create monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements/reporting in accordance with IFRS and/or internal policies/directives
•Prepare and provide analytical analysis and recommendations/advice to support the achievement of revenue growth and cost savings
•Lead the development and generation of reports against metrics to support the development of strategies for business growth and cost savings
•Develop and support the creation of budgets and forecasts and ensure monitoring and follow up on a continuous basis
•Ensure daily financial and accounting systems controls are in place
•Review and approve all required processes within area of responsibility
•Complete quality review checks on key business processes with a view to continuous improvement
•Ensure compliance with financial and accounting systems controls and standard
•Provide and support information requests from external stakeholders (e.g., auditors)
•Provide pro active support/training to the management team on financial/controlling related matters
•Support junior staff members with knowledge transfer and mentoring
•Manage specific projects as directed/needed by the business

Qualifications and Competencies
•University finance degree (or equivalent). "Certified Accountant & Controller" or "Certified Public Accountant" is an advantage
•Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
•In-depth knowledge of financial principals, concepts, and understanding financial statements and reporting
•Knowledge of ERP systems
•Extensive Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) skills and experience in providing analytical reports to internal stakeholders
•Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation is considered an advantage
•Proven track record in analytical skills
•Excellent attention to detail with the ability to effectively self check
•Ability to work under demanding deadlines and take accountability for completeness and timely delivery
•Excellent interpersonal and team work skills
•Ability to develop robust internal and external networks in order to offer a seamless delivery of services
