Cabin Appearance Agents provide support to UGE’s clients by performing a variety of ground handling services. Agents may provide services to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard aircraft equipment, or within the station or terminal. Use such materials as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses. Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from aircraft and other work areas. Perform required security searches of aircraft. Remove all trash from aircraft and clean and restock all lavatories, clean aircraft floor
Clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables and replace soiled magazines
Fold blankets and store blankets and pillows in overhead compartments
Provision service items such as blankets, pillows, amenity kits and magazines in designated locations onboard the aircraft with accuracy that meets the client’s appearance and quality control standards
Use personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
Ability to comprehend and execute defined safe universal precaution control procedures concerning handling blood-borne pathogens and other hazardous waste
Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
Exceed UGE customer service and safety standards
Carry out other duties as assigned

Work schedules will span a 24/7 operation including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Flexible work shifts will be assigned and can include late nights and early mornings.
Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United Ground Express’ policies are required. Overtime available/required depending upon operational need.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. state driver's license (suspended, expired, revoked or denied licenses are not valid)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
Must be able to clear a United Ground Express background check and a fingerprint-based criminal history check
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearances
Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical abilities test, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen
Must comply with United Ground Express’ Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Policy
